My name is Milton Flick. I’m running for District Judge. Specifically, I am the nominee of the Democratic Party for Judge of the District Court of Fort Bend County, 400th Judicial District. I am a lawyer. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of North Texas. I then attended the University of Texas School of Law, graduating in 1967 in the top 10% of my class. I have practiced civil and criminal law for over 40 years, The District Court is the Texas trial court of general jurisdiction, hearing the most serious of cases. Although some District Courts are limited to Family cases, or civil cases, or criminal cases, the 400th District Court hears both civil and criminal cases. I am running for a position which will use my 40 years of experience. I want to serve the residents of Fort Bend County, I recognize that to be a Judge is an awesome responsibility. If elected, I will use my best efforts to honorably fulfill that responsibility. I will treat all parties with respect, listen closely to the facts and the arguments of the lawyers, give serious consideration to the issues in the case, and decide the case based upon the law. I will stand up for justice and uphold and enforce the law. With you, I aspire to make and keep Fort Bend County the best place in Texas to live. I live in Quail Valley with my lovely wife, Flo. You may know her as Flo Cook. She taught school in Fort Bend County for over 30 years. We are members of Sugar Creek Baptist Church. We both serve on the Board of Directors of African Outreach Ministries, which sponsors both missionaries and orphanages in Africa. We actively support Bethel Church on 5th Street in Stafford. We support the Second Mile Ministries, also in Stafford, where Flo is on the Board of Directors.We enjoy many Fort Bend activites with our four children and seven grand children. I would welcome this opportunity to serve the citizens of Fort Bend County as a District Judge, enabling me to call upon my experience of practicing law for 40 years. I would appreciate your vote for Milton Flick for Judge, 400th District Court of Fort Bend County I urge each citizen of Fort Bend County to exercise his right to vote and to make his choices known. Each and every vote counts. No citizen should forgo the opportunity to vote. I ask each citizen as they consider who should occupy the White House or who should serve them in some other elected position, not to ignore the question of who they want to serve in the Fort Bend County Courthouse, where the decisions and the rulings of the Courts have a direct and lasting impact on their lives.
